Acquisition of key elements about the history of tradition, textual criticism, the history of Greek philology.

Course unit content

Course Title: Euripidean ms. tradition and textual criticism.

The lessons will focus on the textual tradition of Euripides, with particular attention to the period between IV BC and VIII AD, and to the major issues in the edition of the plays and of the hypotheses.
