Bibliography

A general reading list is provided at the start of the course; for the second, more specialized part of the course, a specific reading list will be provided. Non-attending students will be given a series of readings to replace classroom attendance.

Teaching methods

Analysis of works of art cannot be confined solely to reproductions, and for this reason students will often be given the opportunity to see original works, while also examining issues related to technique and preservation.
