Learning objectives

This course aims to introduce students to themes, figures and problems of British literature in the context of current critical debates in order to invite them to compare and discuss different interpretative approaches and to develop personal reading and analytical trajectories. At the end of the course, students will have acquired the necessary skills to work independently with literary texts from modern and contemporary British literature.

Prerequisites

Students must have passed the exam for Letteratura Inglese I LM.

Course unit content

This monographic-style course examines specific aspects of British literature from the early modern period to contemporary times, with specific attention to the most recent critical debates and publications.
