Learning objectives

The course of Medicinal Chemistry II provides chemical informations about the pharmaceutical classes included in the programme, with special regard to the relationships between chemical structure and pharmaceutical, pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties. Moreover, the pourpose of the course is the study of the chemical and physicochemical properties of the drugs, the mechanism of action, the most important biotransformations and metabolic considerations, the classification of the drugs and the nomenclature.
