Learning objectives

<br />Knowledge of the exploration on techniques of the vestibular apparatus. Methods of vestibular rehabilitation. Cochlear implants: programming and fitting.

Prerequisites

<br />The student must have sat the Audiometry V examination.

Course unit content

<br />Principles of electronystagmography, video-oculoscopy, video-oculography, stabilometry.<br />Methods for recording spontaneous, revealed and provoked nystagmus.<br />Stabilometric recording methods.<br />Methods of vestibular rehabilitation in peripheral and central acute and chronic vestibular syndromes.<br />Principles and methods for making cochlear maps in adults and children wearing cochlear implants.
