Learning objectives

<br />In the context of the integrated course, the course is proposed to supply to the students general concepts on the causes and the mechanisms that carry to the diseases. In particular, general knowledge about the chemical and physical causes of diseases and concepts of cellular pathology will be supply. More particularly, the student will have to acquire  knowledge about inflammation, neoplasia, genetic diseases, genetic deafness, diabetes, atherosclerosis, diseases of the blood and alterations of the haemostasis<br />

Teaching methods

<br />Frontal lesson with the use of supports audiovisual, argument in classroom with the students, supply of the audiovisual aids, talks with the student upon request. <br /> <br />The final appraisal involves one oral verification according to the calendar of examination of the Integrated Course. <br />
