Learning objectives

To deal with generalities of bone pathology (both neoplastic and non-neoplastic) and the most common causes of sudden death in young athletes.

Course unit content

<p> The "Anatomic Pathology" course will include the following issues:</p>
<p>Non-neoplastic bone pathology (bone remodeling pathology, arthrosis, osteoporosis, specific and non-specific synovites, tendinitis, teno-synovytes)</p>
<p>Neoplastic bone pathology (WHO bone classification, benign and malignant bone tumours)</p>
<p>Causes of sudden death in the young athletes (cardiac causes, non-cardiac causes)</p>
