Integrated course unit module: INDUSTRIAL AUDIOLOGY

Learning objectives

The course is addressed to a complete analysis of the regulation of the contract of employment and civil service. It will deal with the basic notions about the regulative sources, with the particular role of collective agreements. Then it will focus on a precise exam of the most important aspects of the contract of employment (the organizational and directive power of employer, non – standard contracts, the extinction of the employment relationship). Lessons will examine the features of the employment relationships in health sector, and the legislative innovations, endowing students with doctrinal and jurisprudential instruments for the interpretation of relevant regulation.

Course unit content

Typologies of collective agreements, the structure of collective bargaining and its effectiveness and scope. Normative prototype and non-standard contracts. The stipulation and administration of employment relationships. Employer’s powers within employment relationship. Wages and labour’s cost: regulative methods and techniques. Employment market’s liberalization, administrative decentralization. Reform principles in the organization and regulation of labour market. Labour agencies. Agency work. Non – standard employment contracts Certification of employment contract. Voluntary withdrawal and employment relationship’s stability.

Teaching methods

Frontal lessons
The exam will consist of an oral examination on the subjects discussed during the lessons. For the students which have attended the course a written examination could take place, according to criteria which will be published.
