Learning objectives

<br />Audiometric methods for the prevention of deafness in infants.

Prerequisites

The student must have sat the examinations of the Integrated Course of Audiometry I and Audiometry II.

Course unit content

<br />Neurophysiological bases, clinical methods and indications of auditory evoked potentials. Electrocochleography (ECoG). Auditory brainstem responses (ABR). Middle latency responses (MLR). Slow vertex responses (SVR). Evoked cortical responses (P300).<br />Neurophysiological bases, clinical methods and indications of otoacoustic emissions.
