Learning objectives

At the end of the course the student should possess the general knowledge on the biologic and clinical significance of tissue regeneration and its specific application to the myocardium.

Course unit content

 Basic information on the biologic and clinical significance of stem cells.<br />
Cellular bases of cardiac pathology.<br />
Knowledge of the experimental and clinical observations of cell therapy for myocardial regeneration.
