Learning objectives

The course aims at providing students with knowledge of the existing legal framework in the EU and in the Council of Europe in the area of social security and in other fields that may be relevant for social services

- The role and responsibilities of social services under the European Convention on Human rights in the light of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights <br />
- the European Social Charter<br />
- Social security of migrant workers in the EU<br />
