Learning objectives

This seminar course, specifically aimed at Social Services students, offers the theoretical-institutional knowledge and tools necessary to understand the operation of the mixed economic system and its effects on income redistribution and poverty and the problems connected with public intervention. Particular attention is dedicated to efficiency, and to the economic and institutional analysis of spending and taxes. The course is carried out with lectures given by visiting professors and offers ample room for debate and discussion by students.
