Learning objectives

This global vision is necessary in order to know and correctly estimate the contribution of the archaeological sources to the acquaintance, safeguard and valorisation of the archaeological cultural heritage <br />

Teaching methods

The frontal lessons are equipped from illustrative material on hand of the students. Numerous participations of experts (from the archaeological soprintendenze, directors of museums, enterprises of archaeology) will be organized, that they introduce some concrete cases of study. Wide part of the course is carried out in the archaeology laboratory. The direct contact with ancients materials is facilitated with some visits in museums, laboratories and archaeological sites and excavations. The didactic internationalization will be realized through some scholars lectures from European universities connected in Socrates program. A written and practical test of verification will be take and a short written text concerning one of the deepening arguments of seminaries will be discussed in an oral exam.
