<p>Features of the Byzantine monastic tradition. After having looked at certain aspects that are fundamental in developing an understanding of the millennial history of the Byzantine empire, the course will look at themes regarding the origins and development of the Oriental monastic tradition and its characteristic model of spirituality.</p>
