Learning objectives

The Non Profit Company sector in our country is currently undergoing evolution. The role of Non Profit Companies in the local and national economy is now unanimously acknowledged and even considered a factor of social and economic development. The operation of Non Profit Companies is regulated by legislative norms that often fail to consider the earl requirements of the companies themselves. The aim of the course is to examine the specific features of the operation of Non Profit Companies, especially: the aspects of governance, economic measurements, personnel management, decision-making criteria for medium- and long-term investments. The course also provides an opportunity to meet the management of these institutions and to understand their variety and social value as well as the organisational and motivational solutions to be found in them.
