Direct deconstruction of the two pseudo-concepts given in the title of this course, ''Literature” and ''Italy'', taking into account the multitude of “Italies” of previous times (starting from the pre-Latin era, according to the Tiraboschi model) and anagogical review of the modern secular concept of ''letters'' and the primary, holy concept of writing / Scripture, through a continuous comparison not only against the many literary models provided by archaeological-historical experience and the assumption of current alternative models, but also against other art forms (music, theatre, figurative arts, architecture, gardening, cinema, photography etc.), in particular for a reflection/reflux of their practices and particular historical theories on language (and the critical conscience of language, a veritable Devil’s bridge for that which we refer to simply as ''literature”) of the word, in the dual dimension of the verbum-(structure) and the Wortkunstwerk-(superstructure).
