Learning objectives

The aim of the course is to provide, by means of analysis of appropriate study cases, the technical skills and the main concerns todeal with in order to implement sustainable environmentalbiotechnologies to solve environmental pollution. <br />

Prerequisites

Good knowledge of environmental chemistry, microbiology and geopedology.<br />

Course unit content

<br />The course will deal with the basis and the applicationsofenvironmental technologies based on micro-organisms. Thesetechnologiesfor cleaning contaminated soils, water polluted withorganic andinorganic compounds are representing a excellent challengeto the theother conventional technologies.
