Learning objectives

<br />The main goal of the course is to provide a solid background on the hazards related to the occurrence of lava flows and pyroclastic depositis at cities located on explosive volcanoes and volcanic islands. The active italian volcanoes will be discussed as examples of high volcanic hazard areas.
