Learning objectives
The student will achieve the fundamental knowledge on cell pathology and cell death. Causes and mechanisms of genetic diseases (single-gene disorders) will be treated to simplify the knowledge of gene therapy principles. The subject “Cancer” will be face from molecular, cellular and histological point of view to offer a panorama of the potential biotechnological applications.
