Learning objectives

The course aims to put specialist degree students in a position to analyse cases of disabled people and plan interventions for them so as to favour their social inclusion and improve their quality of life.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of handicap classifications. Basic knowledge of cognitive behavioural strategies.

Course unit content

Psycho-educative interventions in school for disabled pupils. Occasional and systematic observation and functional analyses. Work on the antecedents and the consequences. Metacognitive strategies for self-regulation. Emotional aspects. Experimental research on individual subjects and evaluation of results. <br />
