Course unit content

<br />General physiology of the neuron. Synaptic transmission. Spinal chord and reflexes. Brainstem structure and the control of posture. Somatosensory system. Psycophysics of perception. Retina and visual system. Organization of cerebral cortex and some notion on the motor system. Basal ganglia. Cerebellum. Some notion of the anatomy and physiology of the authonomic system and hypothalamus.
