Learning objectives

The main purpose of the present course is to teach the study of the Personality Psychology basing on the epistemological foundations of theories and the specific methods.

Course unit content

 The main aim of the present course is to approach the study of the Personality Psychology basing on the epistemological foundations of theories and the specific methods; then the focus will be centered on different levels of analysis and research strategies. Will be introduced primary themes and the principal theoretical models examining the description and the development of the personality structures. A second course part will be devoted at a more detailed analysis of the changing aspects of personality related to the knowledge elaboration, emotion and motivation. Particular attention will be addressed to the methodological aspects of the research, action strategy of psychology together with the evaluation processes of psychotherapies. <br />
