Learning objectives

This course has been designed to provide the tools required to undertake rigorous statistical analysis on a territorial, local and international level. One of most pressing needs on a territorial level is that of having available data that may be used to determine political-economic projects. This information may be gleaned from existing data bases or from newly-gathered data. During the course, a number of statistical and computer tools will be provided that will be used to gather data and process it for summary, interpretive and forecasting purposes.
