Learning objectives

The course aims to illustrate the basic concepts and the main analysis models used by product and service companies to identify and qualify the structural and competitive features of the competitive areas in which they operate with the aim of choosing an effective strategy and a coherent market position. <br />
The aim is two-fold: on one hand, the course aims to provide a methodology for sector based analyses which allow the definition and study of the competitive area and company market in a context of ever increasing complexity due to technological innovation and changes in purchasing and consumption models. On the other, it aims to illustrate the strategic choices that companies must make in order to be successful in new areas of competition. <br />
