Learning objectives
The intention of the course is to help students acquire knowledge and mastery, also at operational level, of planning methods. This is in order to develop the early control skills necessary for planning financing policies consistent with the quality/quantity of financial requirements. The intention of the course is also to introduce the student to classic corporate finance topics and present methods for measuring the cost of capital and of the value created by management for the benefit of shareholders.

Course unit content
<br />The course covers the tasks and functions that characterize the financial function in the management of businesses. In particular, attention is focussed on the planning and control of financial equilibrium in the development of the business. The topic of planning is broken down into two analysis routes. Firstly, the topic of solvency planning is dealt with. Secondly, the topic of measurement and planning of the value created by management is discussed.
