Enable the student to know and apply the regulations on cosmetic products and requirements for cosmetic production workshops. To provide students with the skills to develop the methodologies and tools peculiar to the supervision and control of cosmetic products.

Course unit content
Analysis of supervision and control of cosmetic products through enforcement of current regulations.
Full programme
Current regulations on cosmetic products (EC Legislation and Regulations). Labeling of cosmetic products. Safety of cosmetic products. CPNP portal (Cosmetic product notification portal). Supervision of the proper use and sale of cosmetic products. Supervision of Cosmetic Production Laboratories (SCIA, structural requirements, sanitation requirements, personnel training).

Teaching methods
The training activity envisages the active involvement of the students; in particular, it is expected to alternate between moments of frontal lessons and group and/or individual exercises
Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of achievement of the course objectives involves a written examination (multiple-choice and open-ended questions). The verification of learning of the course content is also done through on-going assessments (group and/or individual work).
