The testing of the acquisition of the students' translation competences
will be made, through a Written Test, propedeutical to the Oral Test, from
Italian into French (Thème) and/or from French into Italian (Version).
Students who have not obtained at least 18/30 in the Written Test, could
not have access to the Oral Test. To prepare the Written Test, students
are highly recommended to follow the hours of practical exercise, taught
by a native speaker.
The Oral Test will concern the acquisition of the different topics
approached, and the critical reflection about the main translation
theories, as well as in a diachronic (evolution of the transaltion theories
and practices), a synchronic perspective (identification of the various
translation difficulties, critical reflection about them and justification of
the different proposals of solution), and a contrastive perspective.
