Course unit content

The epistemological foundations and logical-procedural method of didactics and experimental pedagogy. Approaches to participatory and competence-based planning. Analysis of the main teaching-learning methods in secondary school. Active and cooperative methods. Laboratory methods. Docimology and educational experimentation. Innovation, experimentation and educational research. The forms of action-research. Evaluation of skills and school performance. Study of the theoretical, epistemological and methodological-procedural bases of national and international theoretical and empirical educational research. The main perspectives of action-research, with particular reference to the research-training approach.
