Learning objectives

GYNECOLOGY 1
The course aims to raise awareness and understanding of human reproductive pathophysiology through epidemiology, the study of the causes and the main techniques of medically assisted procreation.
Finally, acquire the knowledge related to male and female impotentia coeundi including vaginismus.
Also bring to the knowledge of the various contraceptive methods
Know the law 194, the medical and surgical methods of treatment for voluntary and spontaneous abortion. Also include ovarian polycystosis and hyperandrogenism, pelvic inflammatory disease with the causes and its treatment, benign gynecological pathology with elements of gynecological surgery

GYNECOLOGY 2
Cervical cancer screening and the meaning of the results.
Screening in female oncologic pathology (breast and ovarian cancer).
Knowledge of diagnosis and therapy of inflamatory pelvic desease.
Knowledge of diagnosis and therapy of endometriosis.

PELVIC FLOOR REHABILITATION
Acquire knowledge of the "complexity" of the pelvic floor in promoting women's health.
Learn the basic knowledge and skills related to the pathophysiology of the pelvic floor.
Develop knowledge on the subject of perineal insufficiency in its multiple manifestations and in the factors that favor its onset.
Experience a body approach as a resource to develop self-awareness.
Promote reflections on the peculiarities of the personalized therapeutic approach.

Human infertility
Medically assisted procreation

Pelvic inflammatory disease
Benign gynecological pathologies (myomas, polyps, endometriosis) with elements of surgical therapy

GINECOLOGY 2
Higlight in Gynecology oncology prevention
Screening of cervical carcinoma and provide guidance on the interpretation of the results
Managing of Pap smear in pregnancy
Inflamatory Pelvic Disease: etiology and patogenesis
Endometriosis: to describe the desease and to manage the patient.

PELVIC FLOOR REHABILITATION
Pelvic floor anatomy and physiology.
Study of the pathologies related to it, with in-depth analysis of the anatomical-functional changes and modifications of the pelvic organs during the different stages of a woman's life.
Application of the main methods of prevention of perineal dysfunctions in pregnancy, post-partum and puerperium.
Principles of re-education and rehabilitation.
Outline of the main pathologies related to pelvic floor dysfunctions.

GYNECOLOGY 1
Definition, etiopathogenesis of female and male infertility, chronic anovularity, environmental and habit factors, female organic causes, premature ovarian failure, genetic, infectious causes, ovulation induction therapies, in vivo and in vitro fertilization techniques, TESE.
Definition of contraceptive, inidce of Pearl, natural, hormonal, interceptive methods of contraception, Indications and contraindications of the various methods, WHO manual

PELVIC FLOOR REHABILITATION

Teaching methods

Lectures will be held on-site in compliance with safety standards, provided that further instructions on the ongoing health emergency are not implemented.

Assessment methods and criteria

The assessment of the achievement of the objectives set by the module includes an oral test on the topics addressed. In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the exams will be conducted remotely, as follows:
remote oral questions, through the Teams platform
