Learning objectives

The course aims at providing students with grammar and vocabulary knowledge at B1 level, as well as developing written and oral language skills.

Course unit content

The aim of the course is to help students pass the French language test based on reading, listening and Use of the language (grammar and vocabulary) at B1 level of the CEFR. The course is aimed at students who can understand simple communication and have acquired French language skills at A2+.

Teaching methods

The course is online and can be accessed on

(nome.cognome@studenti.unipr.it). The course includes exercises with automatic correction of answers. The pass mark for the exercises is 60%.

Assessment methods and criteria

The French language test is computer based at a B1 level and consists of multiple choice questions on reading, writing grammar and vocabulary. The pass mark of 60% is calculated solely on the number of correct answers, with no marks subtracted for missing or incorrect answers. The use of dictionaries, grammar reference books etc. is not permitted.

VALIDITY OF INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE CERTIFICATES

Certificates can be recognized to replace the language test for any number of credits within a degree course. Certificates issued by boards or institutions not expressly named in the ruling are not valid to replace the university language test.
