Learning objectives
The student will be able after the intership period to approach patient with medical clinical problems and to know the organization of a medical ward, and undestand the interaction among different health figures within a Medical Department.

Course unit content
The internship will be hend in the ward of Internal Medicine Unit and concerns:
a) observation of nursing round
b) clinical evalution of the patient focusing on the ability to measure vital parameters oximetry, blood gas analysis, consciousness level, respiratory and circulatory performance.
c) venipuncture.
d) execution of the electrocardiogram (EKG).

Teaching methods
