Learning objectives

- to familiarize with the technical basis of the main diagnostic and interventional imaging techniques
- to achieve the basics of interventional radiography for the main disorders
- to apply the basics and appropriateness criteria of the main tools of diagnostic and interventional imaging in the clinical and surgical settings
- to read and understand the clinical indications

Course unit content

Technical basis of the diagnostic and interventional imaging (mono- and biplanar angiography)
- Basic knowledge of radioprotection for both healthcare worker and patients
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional imaging of the main disorders
- Indications and appropriateness of the diagnostic investigations

The course objectives achievement will be verified as follows:
1) A written and/or oral test after some lectures.
Questions aim to verify students knowledge and understanding of the lectures key points. The average score will be averaged with that of the final oral test
