Learning objectives

The classes will offer and improve the student’s skills in imagining, realizing and evaluating the social work planning.

Knowledge and understanding
- - skill to argue the main theories in the social planning
- - skill to describe participative tools in coherence with co-construction planning methodologies

- - Connect thoerical issues with field experience

Course unit content

The first part of the classes will be oriented to learn what are the main topics and tools for a “good” social planning
The second part will be dedicated to some specific thematic areas and issues according to the experiences of the students during the traineeship

Teaching methods

Face to face lessons
- Tutorial seminars, pre-traineeship
- Simulations to improve tecnical, relational, methodological skills, before in the field experience

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral examination to verify:
knowledge of the topics treated during the lessons;
- ability to make appropriate links between the treated topics and between them and the traineeship experience
- ability to identify the relevant elements for a good and effective social planning
- ability to apply the developed knowledge to the professional practice carried out in the traineeship
The evaluation is sufficient if the student demonstrates a significant knowledge of the topics discussed during the class, as well as an adequate skill to make connections and to reflect on what has been learned.
