Learning objectives
For the module of GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
1. Knowledge and understanding. Functioning of cognitive and motivational processes as base of patients behavior. Fetal and neonatal development, neurological plasticity. Verbal and non-verbal communication, functioning of groups, processes of social influence.
2. Students will be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in dealing with medical-surgery issues in interdisciplinary contexts and will be able to interact with patients, their families, and health care personnel. They must be able to tolerate physically workloads to function effectively under stress, and to display flexibility and adaptability to changing environments. Obstetrics will be able to work thoughtfully and skillfully under pressure and variable work schedules. They will enjoy practicing both medicine and surgery showing clinical acumen along with dexterity, precision.
3. Independence of judgment. Students will develop critical thinking skills and independent judgment with respect to the clinical protocols including reflection on social and ethical responsibilities.
4.Communication skills. Students will be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with patients, their families, and members of the health care team. They will be able to obtain a medical history in a culturally competent manner, interpret non-verbal aspects of communication, establish therapeutic relationships with patients and to recognize and regulate cognitive and emotional processes associated with stress and pain.
5. Learning ability. Students will be able to contribute to collaborative learning environments, accepting constructive feedback from others and taking personal responsibility for making appropriate positive changes. Students will be able to upgrade from reliable sources and to continue their professional development on their own.
- Know and understand the general principles of demoetnoantropology
- Deepen issues such as dialogue, listening, relationship, recognition and respect in order to identify and describe the problems present in the relationships that are established with subjects-patients from different cultures.

The course aims to allow the student to know and understand the contents treated. Another fundamental objective is the ability to apply knowledge and understanding during the training internship. The teaching also has as its objective the attainment of communication skills with the patient, the family context and all health professionals involved.
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
At the end of the course, it is expected that the student will:
- know the contribution of Clinical Psychology in the reading of significant events in the life cycle of women
- be able to apply the acquired knowledge and combining the health and the relational dimensions in the interaction with patients, their families and healthcare staff
- have acquired autonomy of judgment about the issues topics covered
- have acquired the ability to communicate clearly and precisely: knowing how to use a rich and specific language that aims to express comprehensible messages. The student must therefore have matured and exercised the awareness that communication uses verbal and non-verbal channels and includes the ability to listen to the other
- have implemented the ability to learn also through participation in active and collaborative learning

The PEGADOGY GENERAL AND SOCIAL course intends to investigate the concept of education in general pedagogy, both in relation to adulthood and infance, with particular reference to the line of libertarian pedagogy. Effective application to the training objectives of the degree program will be given through the study and analysis of websites dedicated to moms.
NURSING, MIDWIFERY AND GYNAECOLOGICAL SCIENCES
The course aims to provide students with both theoretical and practical concepts on the treatment of pain in childbirth, with related methods of containing pain (both pharmacological and non). Therapeutic administration, methods of assessment and administration of the drug through the "7 G", correct documentation of the pharmacological administration and blood transfusion

Teaching methods
The module of GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY takes place mainly by means of lectures that will cover the main contents with many references to theories and theoretical models and applied aspects of the discipline. Video tutorial may accompany the lessons. In order to actively involve students, lectures will be supported from practice individual and/or group and collaboration in interdisciplinary research for active learning of procedures and methodologies.
For the module of DEMO-ETNO-ANTROPOLOGICAL DISCIPLINES Lectures with the support of audiovisual and classroom exercises in small groups on the proposed themes.
For the GENERAL AND SOCIAL PEDAGOGY module: frontal, discussion, case analysis, website analysis, work on the Moodle platform.

Assessment methods and criteria
For the module of GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY The oral examination will ascertain the attainment of all the objectives of the course. Any questions regarding the contents tend to check whether the student has attained a solid foundation of knowledge and a deep understanding of what was discussed. The final evaluation will be derived from the accuracy levels achieved for each training goal corresponding to 6 classes of evaluation (A to F).
The assessment of DEMO-ETNO-ANTROPOLOGICAL DISCIPLINES the achievement of the objectives of the course includes the preparation of a written text then discussed in the oral examination.
For the HISTORY OF MIDWIFERY
The achievement of the learning objectives evaluated through an oral/written exam, about the contents covered. Questions on the topics relating to the course content, will be used to test the student’s knowledge and understanding in the field, and her/his ability to apply the knowledge and understanding in occupational contexts. Failure to answer to one question, or proven inability to demonstrate at least a basic knowledge om the subject, will prevent the successful completion of the exam. Upon completion of the exam, you will define an evaluation that will contribute to the final grade of the course, based on the objectives achieved (excellent, good, fair, fully sufficient, barely sufficient).

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
Assessment is a 30 questions multiple-choice written test. Each question weight 1 point. The final assessment is the sum of the points. The honors will be awarded if it is reached the maximum score and the mastery of the disciplinary lexicon is added. The results of the test will be announced during the return.
