Learning objectives

In recent years, economic sciences have shown growing interest in cultural goods and activities, despite their intangibility. In fact, cultural goods and activities can be considered as scarce resources to be allocated efficiently, so as to become a subject of study by economic disciplines. The aim of the course is to bring students closer to the problems that arise from the peculiarities of these goods, trying to explain the reasons why cultural goods have their own economy and therefore they can talk about market demand.
