Teaching methods

Presentation of three seminars dealing with the thesis project, advised by a committee of at least three professors.
In the first seminar, in Italian, the student presents the state of the art on the topic of the thesis, the ecological question he aims at amswering and overall objectives.
In the second seminar, in English, the student presents the objectives of the thesis project and the methods to be used.
In the third and last seminar, in Italian, the student presents the results of the thesis research.

Assessment methods and criteria

A committee of at least three lecturers/scientists evaluate the candidate performance on the basis of three criteria: scientific quality of the presentation, ability to communicate and discuss the contents of the research work. In case of positive evaluation, the candidate is admitted to the next seminary or to the laurea exam (in the case of the third seminar). In case of failure, the candidate must repeat the seminar.
