Learning objectives
The activity of the professionalizing internship is aimed to give the students the necessary tools for knowledge and ability to understand the basis of the main methods used in the sections/subsections/laboratories of the Unit of Pathological Anatomy and Histology, Unit of Clinical Chemistry and Hematology, Unit of Medical Genetic, Unit of Transfusion Medicine and Immunohematology, Unit of Microbiology and Unit of Virology of the University Hospital of Parma.

The activity of the professionalizing internship is aimed to give the students the necessary tools for knowledge and ability to understand the different stages of the analytical workflows and continuous quality improvement, through the correct application of the specific executive protocols, the proper use of instruments and the proper preparation and storage of reagents.

Demonstration of practice activity by clinical tutors of the sections/subsections/laboratories of the Units attended by students in small groups, according to the teaching calendar, and the subsequent accompanied re-execution of the same activity by the students.
