Learning objectives

Knowledge of early XXth century theatre and ability to analyze they is maina features.

Prerequisites

Good knowledge of Spanish and of XV-XVIIIth century literature. Ability to analyze literary texts

Course unit content

The course is dedicated to early XXth century drama, in particular Lorca's and Valle-Inclan's dramatic works, that renewed Spanish theatre. Some dramatic works will be read and analyzed during the lectures. The program will be completed with the study of some critical essays and a Spanish literature textbook.
