Bibliography
The drafting of the final exam requires the student to consult texts and scientific bibliography in a foreign language, thus making a verification of the acquisition of learning skills.
Teaching methods
The final exam is held in the presence of the Graduate Commission and consists in presenting the results of the activity carried out for the final test through a seminar of a typical duration of 15 minutes.
Assessment methods and criteria
The Graduate Commission formulates its judgment taking into account the entire student's study path, assessing its cultural maturity and personal intellectual processing capacity as well as the work done in the final exam. Graduation marks are calculated from the weighted average of the marks gained in all exams that have received a rating, including the lessons to free student choice. The weight of each vote is the number of credits in the course to which it refers. To this medium are added:
- Four points for students graduating within the last autumn session of the third year;
- three points for students who graduate, by the last session of the third year;
- three points for students who have acquired at least 24 CFUs abroad and who graduate within the first off course year;
- four points for students who have acquired at least 36 CFUs abroad and who graduate within the first off course year;
The maximum number of points added is six. The Graduate Commission, evaluating the candidate's curriculum and the final test result, may add up to three points to the resulting mark.
