Provide a detailed knowledge of the methods used in analysis laboratories in the clinical diagnostics in order to make the student able to interpret and critically evaluate the results of the main laboratory diagnosis

In laboratory medicine, in recent years, there has been an unprecedented development of new diagnostic methods. The module in question is intended to bring to the attention of the student the most important applications of these new diagnostic tests, particularly biotechnological methods used in Clinical Pathology.

Teaching methods
Lectures and interactive teaching. There are also exercises and visits to laboratories to enable the student to not only attend, but also to apply the methods learned in theory.
Assessment methods and criteria
In the final test, the student must demonstrate knowledge and skills of critical evaluation of the main tests carried out in the Laboratory of Clinical Pathology.
There are checks in transit without vote in order to assess the need for further study.
Type of exam: written and oral.
