Prerequisites
The “BiochemistryLaboratory” course concerns the BIO10-section and provides 4 out of 20 credits ascribedto the “Laboratories”. <br />The “Biochemistry Laboratory” course requires a sufficient knowledge of chemistry, physics and biochemistry
Course unit content
<br />The Biochemistry Laboratory takes place directly in the laboratories,in direct contact with teachers, technicians, Research Doctoratestudents and scholarship students. It provides for teaching basicbiochemical techniques, applied to the analysis of subjects beingstudied in the laboratory at that time. <br />

Teaching methods
The Biochemistry Laboratory course provides for direct contact by thestudent with the world of the laboratory. The student is required totake part in experiments during which basic biochemical techniques areused. Particular importance will be given to electrophoresis,chromatography, spectrophotometry and fluorescence experiments. Thestudent is assessed on the basis of ability to carry out and interpretthe experiments performed.
