Course unit content

The Course will focus on the principles and possible approaches to promote the regeneration of oral and periodontal tissues.

Oral anatomy, histology and embryology
Wound healing
Basics of periodontics, implantology
Dental implants, biologic effects of implant surfaces
Tissue grafts and bone substitutes
Biomaterials and Scaffolds
Use of growth factors in tissue engineering
Stem cells and gene therapy
