Learning objectives

The student will acquire the basic concepts on the evolution of the Italian health system that led to the current National Health System and its organizational structure.
The student will learn the leading organizations involved in health worldwide.

National Health Organization: by Law 833/78 to Devolution. Health italain system .Health planning: national and regional health plans . International Health organization.

Full programme

Main types of health care systems. Italian health organization: historical precedent and the establishment of the National Health Service. Sanitary norms more relevant. Agencies that deal with health. Basic levels of care, the concept of accreditation. Territorial organization of the SSN: Companies, Departments and Districts.
Health organization international agreements, and main organizations involved in health worldwide.
