Learning objectives

At the end of the course the student will learn the structure of cells and tissue structure of man. Should also be familiar with the general organization of the relevant bodies to the equipment and systems that are formed during development.

Course unit content

The cell: the cell as chemical environment, the cell as a physical environment, the animal cell. Technological foundations for the study of living systems: Analytical Methods and histochemical methods in biochemical investigation, microscopy techniques in morphological investigation. Microscopes, utility and technical limitations of the various microscopes. The histological stable, preparation of histological stable. Principles of reading a histological preparation. The organs and systems of the cell cytoplasmic matrix: ground substance and cytoskeleton. Cell periphery: structural aspects common aspects specific structural, functional aspects. The nucleus. Ribosomal subunits, ribosomes, polysomes and endoplasmic reticulum. The complexes of the Golgi vesicles idrolasiche, endosomes and lysosomes. Mitochondria. Centrosome, mitotic spindle and astrosfera. The cell cycle. Germ cells: The spermatozoon. The egg cell. The somatic cells: Morphological and functional proper to the various types of differentiated somatic cells: secreting cells, cells absorbent, contractile cells, excitable cells, lining cells, cells of immunity. Fabrics: Fabrics epithelial lining. Glandular epithelial tissues. The mucous membranes, organization and general structure of the mucous membranes of the digestive, respiratory, genital, urinary. The skin. Organization and general structure of the main glandular exocrine organs: liver, salivary glands and exocrine pancreas. Organization and general structure of the major organs endocrine glands: pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, endocrine pancreas. Connective tissue proper: loose connective tissue, dense connective tissue, adipose tissue. Specialized connective tissues: cartilage, bone tissue and their genesis, blood, lymph and their genesis. General structure and function of the organs linfoemopoietici: bone marrow, thymus, spleen. Smooth muscle tissue. Skeletal striated muscle tissue. Striated muscle tissue failure. Nervous tissue: neurons, nerve fibers, neuroglia. Structure of the nerve endings and their peripherals. Structure of the ganglia.
