Learning objectives
Laboratory activities have the main purpose to teach how to properly conduct scientific experiments with a systematic and meticulous approach.

Moreover, student will learn modern systems for acquisition and processing data.
Prerequisites
None.
Course unit content
The laboratory is organized as a bespoke activity for each student.

The real content depends on the test rigs used for the time being in the Department laboratories and on the student and research time constraints.

Typical activities are:

1) Designing and building a test rig.
2) Write a LabView application for data acquisition
3) Perform a test campaign
4) Write software in C language for motion design and control applications
5) Modelling a mechanical system with FEM or multibody software
