Access requirements

Bachelor’s degrees in Health professions of rehabilitation (speech therapy, therapy of neuro and psychomotor, physiotherapy, education). Bachelor’s degrees in Education and Training Sciences and Psychological Techniques. Qualification issued abroad, recognized as eligible according to the regulations in force by the Executive Committee for the sole purpose of registration for the Course. Further qualifications may be evaluated by the admission committee on the basis of cultural affinities with the subjects proposed in the course.

Concepts and principles of behavior analysis.

Techniques and tools of intervention in applied behavior analysis.

Research and applications in ABA, conducting assessment, data collection-analysis-interpretation, implementation of experimental drawings, evidence-based educational decisions.

Ethical principles and professional conduct.

Entrepreneurship and creation of services (image/communication, business plan/canvas model of enterprise/service/tariff, privacy/security in socio-educational services).

Insights: the interaction between ABA and health, pedagogical, and social disciplines.

Professional profile

The course aims to create a common language among speech therapists, neuropsychomotor therapists, rehabilitation technicians, educators, and teachers engaged in the care of children and young people with neurodiversity. It provides concrete tools for teaching, rehabilitation and data collection in order to combine the science of applied behavior (ABA) with the principles of research with common paths and specific paths for each professionalism.

The course aims to train speech therapists, neuropsychomotor therapists, rehabilitation technicians, educators, teachers and, in general, professionals in the socio-social sectorhealth and educational use of methodologies and tools of applied behavior science with students of different ages and with different levels of development. The professional after the course will be able to implement, in the course of his professionalism, specific methodologies and an evidence-based approach.
