Learning objectives

This course will offer an overview o the methodologies based on the fluorescence emission by organic molecules useful for the characterization of functional a structural properties of biological macromolecules
The aim of this course is to introduce qualitatively experimental methodologies and discuss their potential and their applicability.
Laboratory experiences will allow students to apply directly the concepts outlined during the introductory part.

Prerequisites

Mathematics and Physics (laurea triennale). Basic concepts of optical absorbance spectroscopy.
