Basic concepts of the atomic and molecular theory. Electronic structure of atoms. Basic concepts of chemical bonding. Molecular geometry and bonding theories. Intermolecular forces. Naming inorganic compounds. Chemical reactions. Stoichiometry. Gases, liquids and solids. Properties of solutions. Thermochemistry. Chemical equilibrium. Solutions equilibria. Acids and bases. The pH scale. Electrochemistry. Chemical Kinetics. Introduction to inorganic chemistry.
