Learning objectives

With particular reference to skills acquired and learning goals the course sets out to describe the various forms of state intervention in the economy, especially in the transition from a mixed economy to a market economy, or rather from the State as owner and manager of firms to the State as market regulator, brought about by globalisation, technological innovations and European Community law.

The study programme will deal with the following subjects: <br />
- State intervention in the economy: the Economic Constitution (Italian and European) and the influence of European Community law; <br />
- privatisations and liberalisations; <br />
- public services; <br />
- public regulation and antitrust law; <br />
- independent administrative authorities. <br />
