Learning objectives
The Administrative Law II course is halved into two autonomous courses and divided up by topic not by alphabetic order. Students may choose the course most relevant to their interests and sit the exam with that lecturer. <br />
Both of the courses propose exploring topics of a monographic nature in order to allow students to verify the application of the main laws studied in Administrative Law I (which, therefore, must be known) in a specialist sector. Particular attention will be placed on recent legal developments. <br />

Prerequisites
It is advisable to have passed the Constitutional Law and Administrative Law I exams.
Course unit content
The Administrative Law II course given by Prof. Pagliari concentrates on “administrative justice”. The syllabus will include the following: the origin of the system of protection towards the public administration; general features of the administrative process; the static and dynamics of the process; judgements and compliance. <br />

The following text is recommended for the Administrative Law II course given by Prof. Pagliari: F. G. SCOCA, Giustizia amministrativa, Torino, Giappichelli, latest ed., (parts 1 to 6). In alternative, N. SAITTA, Sistema di giustizia amministrativa, Milano, Giuffrè, latest ed., (pp. 1-354, 391-467 and 509-578) is recommended. <br />
The main administrative laws must be consulted. <br />
To this end, one of the following is recommended: CAMMEL LI – SCIULLO, Codice breve delle amministrazioni pubbliche, Bologna, Zanichelli (latest ed.) or ROVERSI MONACO – VANDELLI, Codice breve di diritto amministrativo, Rimini, Maggioli (latest ed.). <br />
Teaching methods
In addition to lessons, the course will also include seminar activities which will focus on discussing the most important problems of a chosen subject in light of recent case law. <br />
The two courses, even though autonomous, will have some common activities and, in particular, simulation of one or more administrative processes with active student participation and external experts. <br />
The exam will be oral, with the course lecturer and based on the recommended text. <br />
Students who actively attend the course may agree a partially alternative programme with the lecturer, based on the topics covered. <br />
